the debate

Watching the debate Friday night it was evident that John McCain didn't want to look at Barak Obama,  why is that I wondered?    Does he think he is better than Obama or does he feel small in his presence?  Does he think Barak  Obama isn't worthy to stand on the same stage as him or does he think himself not worthy of standing with Barak Obama?  Or is he as I suspect a rude and angry man who doesn't have the common decency to look at this person who is his opponent in the race for the Presidency.   When I hear McCain say  "listen my friends" with a sneering, snorting smile it is so clear that he is not talking to friends at all.  Watching him I  can almost feel the cork ready to pop in his head and I just wish it would so he could let off some steam and show us what we all know is simmering beneath the sneering smile.
